Undergraduate
Colorful feast for learning
Unlike high school students, undergraduate students are not likely to be supervised by teachers and parents on a regular basis. Therefore, students must understand the subtle differences between studying in high school and in college. An effective self-management is essential for success. It is unacceptable to waste 4 years in college due to lack of self-discipline. On the other hand, students can be stimulated to launch journeys to knowledge exploration throughout college.
To meet the learning objectives, the following knowledge and skills are highly recommended:
- Professional knowledge (including required courses, analytical thinking and logic & reasoning skills).
- English comprehension in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- The ability to work in collaboration (including communication, negotiation, and appreciation).
- Fitness awareness and habit.
- The ability to feel content with life.
Through self-discipline gained during the 4 years of knowledge exploration, students can find out their own strengths and interests. The end result for dedications will be overwhelmingly rewarding and will solidify their knowledge base for a better future. During the course of study, faculty and senior students are available for problem-solving and giving advice. Please don't hesitate to consult with them at any time.
Writer Ernest Hemingway once said , “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” For N.U.K Applied Mathematics graduates, the outstanding learning environment and interesting college experiences will also be a movable feast.
